Satna Klause, also known as Father Trollmas, is a Christmas-themed meme which originated in 4chan’s /b/ board on December 10, 2010. It could be considered a variant of Trollface, as a version of the popular figure Santa Claus. However, with the amount of original content made in a short amount of time, it could be considered its own character.
History
The meme was originally a simple comic, which shows Santa with a Trollface, holding a brown bag with gifts. It was uploaded on 4chan’s /b/ board on December 10, 2010. This comic quickly became popular and by evening, there were around 25 variations made.
