She is known to be an alternative version of the original[[Herp Derp| Herp Derp]], but even though she is a female that is a little bit smarter, talkative, and funnier than the original male version. Her first comic or meme first appeared on 4chan on the pokerstrategy forums around February 9th, 2011. since then, she most likely became popular and her meme most likely appeared in numerous websites like cheezeburger, memegenerator.com, reddit.com, and possibly tumblr.com. by May 2011, there was a reply on yahoo answers saying that a person with an account of (WooHoo) is actually the fake account user who is under the name Herp Derp (or Derpy as one user named wolfy calls him) who has said to woohoo to get Derpina back together with him. By November 2011, there was a new blog on Tumblr that has started and the blog had contained memes of derpina on it. since then, derpina still countinues to be popular, and even though by today's standards, most people still make memes of her as seen on several websites encountered like memegenerator.com on the original website and the app version. and she also still appears on tumblr as of today.</span>

After all, despite the fact that Derpina was made, after her popularity, there has been several other memes of her that had other faces of rage comic characters as her face rather than her original appearance. there also has been several rage comics like Me Gusta, Y U NO, Rage Guy, Everything went better than expected, and even most of the memes that had been put onto her to represent other emotions,  most of the memes also had to put behind Derpina's hair. There also has been a black haired version of her found on the internet.</span>

There also has been other haircolors of derpina on the internet, sometimes there is a red-haired version of derpina in Rage comics, and sometimes in other memes, there is even a brown haired version of her on the internet. On several pictures of OMG Run Guy, he has four different haircolors onto him or her that is running. After the Original OMG Run Guy was made, there has been a Blonde, brown, black, and red haired version of him running like him, but even though most of the hairstyles seemed to be blowing toward the wind as running (of course in gravity, when you run in a constant speed, your hair accelerates faster from the backside as you run in a fast speed). There also has been a Me Gusta version of her that appears to have the same face as Me Gusta, but also has the same hairstyle and other four haircolors like OMG Run Guy would have. Since Me Gusta is popular, then some meme users sometimes puts derpina's hairstyle onto me gusta or even other memes as well. There is even a female version of [[Fap Guy]] who doesn't appear to have the same hairstyle as Derpina, but even though has the same haircolor as the original. the name of the female Fap Guy meme is named Schlick girl as well.</span>

<span class="caps" style="outline:0px;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,Verdana,sans-serif;line-height:18px;">There also has been many anime concept arts from Pre-teens and Teenages who actually resemble derpina as anime from popular culture. there are also numerous other anime counterparts of her made by Deviantart users and some from Pixiv. most people in the 2010's who likes anime also thinks of her pretty, cute, funny, adorable and even has nice hair to some people. there also has been other colored haired versions of her that had Brown, Pink, Blue, Green, Red, or any other color. there also has been a japanese-emoticon version of her that has her eyes like this, (^w^). There has been other memes that also been having her face being put on to bodies of glamour models, super models and fashion models. there also has been other memes of her that is anime, but even though some artists try to make her look like anime as it appears in a realistic style rather than a common style in anime. there also has been other memes that has different quotes, and most of the panels from the comics that derpina has been in has mostly changed up her emotions by adding other faces from rage comic characters onto her.</span>

*When you go on the internet, there is several pictures of derpina that is drawn in an anime style and some of them appears to be the original.
*Most fan-made anime artworks of derpina don't resemble very well to common anime, dozens of them appear to be comic styled rather than the common style of anime. some anime artworks of derpina does appear very well. the reason why the non-anime ones don't appear as they seem to be, is because that the fan-made artworks originated from other countries besides japan, and countries that don't originate from asia lacks the idea of trying to make it appear as they wanted it to be. but some of them has successfully been done very well.
*Most memes of her has different emotions from the other rage comic characters and most of the faces of Rage Comic characters had been put with her hairstyle.
*There has been several cosplays (costume-play (similar to roleplaying american dress-up in plays) of women who roleplay as derpina in real life.
*Unlike the original version of derpina, there also has been another female counterpart besides her who doesn't have the same hairstyle, but even though appears to have the same haircolor as the original. There is a female version of Fap Guy named Schlick girl who appears to have the same haircolor as the original derpina meme.
*instead of having the same crudely drawn Rage Comic characters with derpina's hairstyle or appearance, there also has been realistically drawn versions like [[Yao Ming Face]] and [[Are You Serious]] Guy as well. in Are you serious' version of Derpina, he seems to have a female counterpart who appears with the same emotion and also accompanies with derpina's hairstyle as well.
*There also has been a messy haired yelling version who appears with the same emotion as rage guy, but even though her hair appears to be messy.
*On Animeme 1 - Black Baby on youtube, Derpina appears to be pregnant having a black baby who looks like [[Baby Trollface]]. and at the beginning of the scene when Derpina and [[Rage Guy]] are going to be parents, and several months later, Derpina appear to be pregnant, and when the baby was born, Rage Guy appears in [[OMG/Oh Crap Face|OMG/C*** Face]]'s form and says his going to be an allstar, at the end, [[Aww Yeah]] Guy appears saying "AWWWWWWWWWWW YEEEAAAAHHHHH!".
*On Animeme 2 - This is Prada, When [[Y U NO Guy ]]walks out of the escalator at the mall, and when Y U NO stops by in front of the Victoria secrets store, Derpina appears inside victoria's secrets as a cameo character, who is a customer at victoria secrets. [[Forever Alone ]]also appears in the scene as well.
*On Animeme 3 - Rainbow Dash Clopping, at the scene when derpina appears, she appears to be petting a tabby cat who has the same face as [[Kitteh Smile ]](which derpina uses the emotion on some memes) and then when the cat gets it's claws out, it scratches derpina, and derpina cries out "FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" like Rage Guy usually does.
*On Animeme 6 - PSYBeam, after the scene when a partier was saying that people get hammered and is nailed, then a Rage Comic with [[Fap Guy]], Me Gusta (with derpina's hairstyle), [[LOL Guy]], LOL Guy (female version), Kitteh Smile, and Kitteh Smile (Derpina) appear in this video as well. At the first part of the Rage Comic scene in the video, the video said 14,000 people had S**, 25,000 people kissed, and 50,000 people hug each other. Mostly in the fact scenes, the first one appeared as Me gusta's with derpina's hairstyle and is being fapped by fap guy, the second was a red haired version of her with an LOL Guy emotion, and finally at the fact about 50,000 people hugging, then derpina appears to have the kitteh smile meme as well.
